Encouraging Women in Every Stage of Life I Peter 4:8-11
Huron Park Baptist Church’s Women’s Ministry is broken into five pieces included in the complete “puzzle” of our church. The desire of the Women’s Ministry is to minister to every woman – regardless of her age or stage in life. We want to encourage and strengthen existing friendships as well as develop new ones. We desire to provide different activities that will encourage and enable women to continue to grow in their own personal walk with the Lord.
Practicing Hospitality
We desire to come alongside and help meet the needs of people who have been affected by grief or illness by providing meals, basic house cleaning, transportation to locations for recuperation needs, and sending encouragement through cards.
Instruction in the Word
We love to study and grow in the Word of God! We do so through Bible Studies, retreats, and special Ladies Events such as Thrive and Ladies Night Out.
Encouragement through Fellowship
We organize social events that will appeal to women of all ages. Some events are our annual Pampering Day, Mother and Daughter Celebration, scrap booking and stamping workshops, teas, weekend retreats, shopping trips, and other social times that promote fellowship and relationship building.
Celebrating Life
We celebrate the blessings of life by holding baby showers for first time moms and bridal showers for lovely new brides.
